Hearings today (Strasbourg): Maroš Šefčovič and Violeta Bulc

20141020PHT74501_originalTwo additional hearings for candidate commissioners will be held in Strasbourg today (20 October). Maroš Šefčovič, who has been nominated as the vice-president for the energy Union, will be heard by the environment and industry committees. Meanwhile Violeta Bulc, the new candidate from Slovenia replacing Alenka Bratušek, will be interviewed by the transport committee regarding the transport portfolio she has been assigned.

Today, 20 October, the following hearings take place (all times are CET):

  • Maroš Šefčovič, nominated as the vice-president for the energy union, will be heard by the environment and industry committees. The hearing starts at 19h and you can follow it live here.
  • The new candidate from Slovenia Violeta Bulc has been put forward for the transport portfolio. Her hearing with the transport committee starts at 19h. Follow it live here.
