Japan will block assets of 25 additional Russian citizens and ban exports to 81 Russian organizations, the foreign ministry announced in a Friday statement.

Fumio Kishida, Japan's Prime Minister, stated that Japan would continue to take steps to remove Russia from its most favored nation status and prevent Russia from evading financial sanctions by using digital assets.
