#TrumpNotWelcome attracts thousands to centre of Brussels
Thousands of protesters gathered on the streets Brussels to protest against Trump's visit to Brussels. The key issues were: gender equality, climate change, LGBT rights and social justice. In this instance, we think "a picture tells a thousand words", writes Catherine Feore.
Amnesty International focused on the refugee ban, with supporters dressed as the iconic (and we try not to use that word) Statue of Liberty - or should we say Statues of Liberty:

Greenpeace called on the United States president to 'Make Peace Great Again!' Their angle was the president's rejection of the science backing up climate change and the dilly-dallying over the Paris Climate Change Agreement:


Then there were the Pussy Hat Dolls - of which there were many. Where to start? There was the tape where Trump was caught saying 'Grab 'em by the pussy'; plans to cut back on Planned Parenthood in the US which covers everything from contraception to advice on abortion; cutting back on aid in general but to family-planning clinics in particular; allegedly entering the 'Miss Teen USA' changing room... We could go on - but we would rather not.

And then some general Belgian playfulness. Trump had called the capital of Europe a 'hellhole':
