The European Citizen’s Prize recognizes initiatives that contribute to EU co-operation and the promotion of common values. Are you involved in or know of such a project? Nominate it now!

Awarded every year by the European Parliament, the prize goes to projects organized by people or organizations that encourage:

  • Mutual understanding and closer integration between people in the EU
  • Cross-border cooperation that builds a stronger European spirit
  • EU values and fundamental rights

How to apply

Individuals, groups, associations or organizations can all apply or nominate a project for the European Citizen’s Prize. MEPs can also make a nomination.

Projects can be submitted between 22 February 2022 and 18 April 2022 (before midnight Brussels time).
