Britain says Russia's Donbas offensive 'has lost momentum'

Russia’s offensive in Ukraine's Donbass region "has lost momentum" and is now significantly behind schedule, British military intelligence stated early Sunday (15 May).

The British military stated in a regular Twitter bulletin that Russia will not dramatically accelerate its pace of advancement under current circumstances.

Ukrainian forces stopped a Russian river crossing attempt in the Donbas on Friday. This eastern region, which includes the Luhansk, Donetsk, and Donetsk regions, has been the focus of war.
