The Dutch PM Mark Rutte stated Wednesday that the Netherlands is evaluating whether it can join Germany, Belgium, and the UK in order to supply more heavy weapons for Ukraine.

Rutte made this statement after a telephone conversation with Volodimir Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian President. During which Zelenskyy praised Ukraine for its steadfastness against Russia in the fight for the Donbass region. He wrote that the Netherlands would continue to support Ukraine in its fight for democracy and sovereignty, both in the short- and long-term.
