Foreign Minister Abdrakhmanov leads #Kazakhstan delegation in 73rd #UNGA
Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov (pictured) led the Kazakh delegation in the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City. Minister Abdrakhmanov met with Secretary General António Guterres last week. The Minister also convened the High Level Event to launch the Code of Conduct to implement the United Nations Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy (GCTS) and other legally binding instruments.
Earlier last week, Minister Abdrakhmanov spoke at the Nelson Mandela Peace Summit. The foreign minister also took part in the Security Council meeting on non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, the ministerial meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, and held a meeting with US business leaders organized by the Business Council for International Understanding.
