Next Parliament to decide on social benefits for #EUMobileWorkers

Parliament has decided not to close the first reading on the legislation for EU mobile workers, but to leave it to the next Parliament to work on this.With 291 votes in favour, 284 against and six abstentions, MEPs decided that more time is needed to update the rules on the coordination of social security systems intended to protect fair access to social security while distributing obligations fairly and fostering co-operation among member states.
