Greenwald to MEPs: 'Governments around the world benefit from Snowden's choice'

The consequences of the revelations, the economic espionage by the US and the protection of whistle-blowers and journalists were among the topics raised by MEPs. 

"Most governments around the world are not only turning their backs on Edward Snowden but also on their ethical responsibilities," Greenwald said.
