#Migration: MEPs to discuss Calais 'jungle' camps

calaismigrantThe situation in and around the migrant camps around Calais will be up for discussion in plenary on Tuesday afternoon (4 October) starting at around 17h30. Visiting the area on 26 September, French President François Hollande said that the camp known as the “jungle” would be completely dismantled before the end of the year and called on the UK government to assist France in this task.
