Migration: Launch of the OECD International Migration Outlook 2021
Today (28 October), Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson will deliver a speech on the occasion of the virtual launch of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development's (OECD) International Migration Outlook 2021. The 2021 edition analyses recent developments in migration movements as well as labour market inclusion of migrants in OECD countries. The reports monitor policy changes in governance and integration and this report contains two special chapters on the fiscal impact of migration since mid-2000s and another on the causes and consequences of housing segregation. The Commissioner will join OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann as he presents the main findings of the report. Registration for the event is open to journalists here. More information about the report can be found here.
