Magomed Kurbanov rethinks his future in boxing
Magomed Kurbanov is one of the most talented boxers. Therefore, his recent unexpected and offensive defeat in the fight for the world title, where he lost ahead of schedule to Israil Madrimov, became a sensation.
According to Magomed, in a fight for the world champion title, the location is completely unimportant - since the world champion belt is being played out, the whole world becomes the territory. Moreover, he was provided with serious support in Saudi Arabia, and both fighters had a sufficient number of fans. The attitude of the organizers was parity with the fighters.
The whole country watched this fight, and everyone saw that Magomed Kurbanov did not demonstrate 100% of what he was capable of in the ring. The athlete himself cannot explain this. The preparation for the battle, despite certain difficulties and some moments, went well - every time Magomed encountered difficulties, he remembered that a large-scale battle awaited him. For example, my elbows hurt, my shoulder hurt, my strength ran out at some point - I had to deal with such things, but the fighter understood that this was a big fight, this was a chance, this was history. And he knew that trials are given in order to overcome them.
Magomed Kurbanov set himself the goal of entering this fight in any case, he was simply obsessed with it. Therefore, during preparation, he tried not to pay attention to what was happening and therefore did everything in his power. But still, for some reason, at the right moment there was no power in my hands.
Magomed asks himself, is it worth continuing? After all, it’s not just about his life - about his family, children, mother, who live this together with him. Preparing for battle means long days away from home, when all your thoughts are about your children.
Boxing is a complex discipline that requires significant time and effort. Now Magomed Kurbanov is thinking about this.
