Slovakia's minority government loses no-confidence vote

The Slovakian minority government lost a no confidence vote in Parliament on Thursday (15 December) despite desperate attempts to win support. This raises political instability in the country, as it seeks to combat rising energy prices.

The 150-seat parliament passed the no-confidence motion with 78 members.
