The 2015 guest photographer contest, inspired by 2015 being the European Year for Development, is coming to an end. Every month until September the European Parliament has announced a different topic linked to development and selected the ten best photos. The jury will pick one winner, the second winner is chosen by you. Both winners will be invited to Strasbourg during the November plenary.
You can vote for your favourite photo by liking it on Facebook or Google+. The deadline to vote for your favourite photo is Monday 12 October at noon CET. The winner will be announced on Thursday 15 October.
The best photo for the September theme of demography and migration was taken by Éva Szabó, a 29-year-old freelance photographer from Budapest. She took the photo at a temporary refugee camp while the father was waiting for the bus with his child.
