#USA Health: America’s Healthiest and the Least Healthy States are Being Accounted!

According to the new report from United Health Foundation, despite a lot of efforts which have been put to identify health disparities across the United States, some states are immensely healthier than the others. Well, why shouldn’t it be? When we have websites like Dealslands where people can find exclusive coupons to buy the premium quality health supplements at an affordable rate then the scenario seems to be quite positive. But, the states which aren’t able to attain the highest grades might not be considering such awesome facts yet. And, they need to certainly understand the gravity of the matter soon!
Want to know which states are ranking at the top? Well, Massachusetts, Vermont, Hawaii, Utah, and Connecticut are those five healthiest states! However, West Virginia, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi are the least healthy ones in America’s Health Rankings.
Moreover, the rankings have taken a variety of health factors into account starting from rates of infectious diseases, physical inactivity, obesity to infant mortality, smoking, availability of health care providers, pollution levels and what not!
It is a happy news for the residents of Massachusetts for the first time as it has been named as the healthy state while ending the five year reign of Hawaii. The Bay state is successful to win the honor partially as it has the lowest percentage of uninsured people with the value as less as just 2.7% of the total population. Also, two more factors which added up to this consequence is that it has a low prevalence of obesity and the maximum number of mental health providers.
Well, Mississippi and Louisiana got the ranks of 49th and 50th positions respectively because of some of the major health challenges found over there along with a high extent of smoking, obesity, and poor children. Further, Dr. Georges Benjamin who is the executive director of the American Public Health Association added that “ We’re failing in our fundamental task to be a healthier nation”.
Although the report of America’s Health Rankings has been analyzing the health standards for long 28 years it is noticed for the first time that the nation’s health is getting worse overall!!
It has been noted that since 2015, the number of immature deaths which is significantly before the age of 75 has increased by 3%. The increased rate is due to the immense number of drug deaths which is now 7% more than that period of time and the other reason lies in the increased number of cardiovascular deaths which has a 2% enhancement. This statistically deteriorating result has left USA ranking in the 27th position in terms of life expectancy when compared to 35 other countries.
Benjamin is quite frustrated to see these numbers and he further said that despite so much of money that the USA spends on health care than other nations still, the death rate is increasing at an alarming rate.
