Safe #gas supply for the EU: MEPs to start negotiations with Council
Parliament, led by the rapporteur Jerzy Buzek (EPP, PL) may start the negotiations with the Council based on the Industry Committee’s text on the draft directive on the EU market for natural gas.
Parliament also approved the start of talks with the EU ministers on the draft regulation on European business statistics.
MEPs confirmed the mandate, based on the Industry Committee’s vote on the on the draft regulation on European business statistics, by 320 votes in favour, 312 against, with 17 abstentions. Negotiations with the Council may start now.
