Poland sent tanks to Ukraine, Polish Prime Min Mateusz Morawiecki stated Monday, without providing further details. As Russian forces continue their offensive in Ukraine, Ukraine repeatedly called for the West to supply more weapons and heavy equipment.

When Morawiecki was asked if Poland has sent tanks to Ukraine, he replied "Yes". He refused to provide any additional details, including the number sent.

The United States rejected a surprise offer from Poland in March. In March, it stated that all of its MiG-29 aircraft were ready to be deployed to Ramstein Air Base in Germany.

Morawiecki stated, "There is no such necessity," he said, when asked if he was considering sending planes to Ukraine.
