Andrey Elinson Leaves A1 to Pursue Other Ventures
After a five-year term with A1, a prominent private equity firm and litigation funder active in Russia and internationally, Andrey Elinson has stepped down from the company.
From now on he will not be aligned with any group and will, instead, be focusing on his personal investment initiatives full-time.
Andrey Elinson joined A1 in 2016 to strengthen A1’s management team using his strategic business development expertise. Prior to his time with A1 he served as Vice President at Basic Element, a prominent Russian industrial group, for seven years. Earlier, he was a partner at Deloitte for ten years, having been promoted to partner at the age of 25, thus becoming one of the youngest ever partners in that firm’s history.
Andrey also held positions on the boards of directors of various companies, such as X5 Retail Group, AlfaStrakhovaniye, and Rosvodokanal, until the year 2020.
