Juncker discusses Commission’s work programme for 2015 with political group leaders

Jean-Claude Juncker, president of the European Commission, visited the Parliament on 11 December to discuss the 2015 work programme with the Conference of Presidents, made up of European Parliament President Martin Schulz and the leaders of the political groups. During the lively debate, group leaders asked many questions about the priorities and the methods to be used. Frans Timmermans, vice president of the Commission, also took part in the meeting, and is responsible for leading the discussions with the Parliament on this matter. The work programme was announced by Juncker on 12 November. It will be debated by MEPs during next week’s plenary.
