“Inweasta is an international group of companies specializing in investments, cross-border disputes resolution, litigation funding and distress assets management” – explained CEO Annie Chan Wai Kwan.

“We offer a wide range of consulting, legal and investment services for businesses in various financial and industrial sectors. We are sort of a boutique investment solution finder in complex, not obvious business cases which require a tailored approach. This is why the position appeared so exciting for me."

You have solid professional experience, can you tell more about it?

"I graduated with a postgraduate degree in Financial Management and I have devoted my life to banking and financial industry in Hong Kong and Singapore. For today, I have been engaged in business for 20 years already. I mainly function as a senior relationship manager and offer wide range of corporate financial solutions to local and overseas corporate clients. According to my network and past experience, I always explore into corporate and private wealth investment, financial planning for corporates, affluent and HNWI private individuals as well as business succession and legacy planning. This is exactly what Inweasta does.

Why did you decide to become a CEO of Inweasta?

To be honest, I didn’t even hesitate to accept this offer, since I saw the prospects for the success of the company. In these turbulent times, businesses of both East and West survive strong geopolitical pressure which creates legal obstacles for normal business operation and investment activity. But the complicated situation always creates opportunities. Inweasta is here to use chances, to unify expertise of both East and West for efficient investment projects around the globe. And I am very much grateful to Andrei Elinson, the owner of Inweasta, for inviting me here.

What is Inweasta in terms of people?

Andrei is dynamic, knowledgeable, concrete, he is a real visionary. He created Inweasta as a truly people company.  Our team are the most valuable asset, and company success is directly dependent on our workforce being successful. The management team of Inweasta includes professionals specializing in investment in various fields with many years of experience. We have legal, financial, investment, security, PR and other competences in-house, which give Inweasta a unique ability to work efficiently on our projects, quite complicated at times.

What are the key services you offer?

Inweasta provides a variety of debt resolution services in a number of jurisdictions throughout Europe, Asia, and Americas. We always find reliable solutions which will satisfy all parties of debt arguments and will cost less time and funds than a typical lengthy arbitration process.

Along with that, our legal team is experienced in providing litigation funding services around the globe for disputes between businesses. We offer flexible and smart solutions tailored to satisfy our partners in each particular situation and litigation. Into the bargain, we structure complex investment deals in both financial and industrial fields, in start-ups and operational businesses.

Last but not least, Inweasta has a vast portfolio and deep expertise in restructuring businesses in special situations. A restructure might aim at splitting a business between shareholders, attracting new investments or other types of complex deals.

What are the company's development plans for 2023? Is there any business development strategy?

The most crucial issue that now we are working on is building the new brand of Inweasta as a reliable market player in the sector of investment services that gains credibility and can compete with regional leaders. Additionally, as a part of the business strategy, we aim at creating long-lasting strategic partnerships with other companies to grow our customer base and reach new markets. These two tendencies are definitely in the first place for the year coming."
