Join the Aviation Inclusion Event to mark IDAHOBIT on 18 May 2026  at 10:00 CEST!

On 18 May 2026, EUROCONTROL and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) will co-organise an Aviation Inclusion Event at EUROCONTROL’s headquarters in Brussels, in recognition of the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).

This event marks the first European-level initiative dedicated to advancing LGBTQIA+ inclusion in the aviation sector.

It will bring together a wide range of stakeholders from across the aviation ecosystem, including industry representatives, operational actors, human resources and diversity practitioners, as well as civil society organisations.

The event aims to move inclusion beyond awareness-raising and position it as a key driver of trust, performance, innovation and workforce sustainability in aviation. Through keynote interventions, panel discussions and interactive sessions, participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences, reflect on current challenges, and contribute to shaping a more inclusive and forward-looking aviation culture.

The Ambassadors for #DiversityInTransport Network welcomes initiatives that promote diversity, equality and inclusion across the transport sector. The involvement of Diversity Ambassador Agatino Cirvelleri in this event further highlights the role of the Network in supporting and amplifying such efforts.

The event will take place from 10:00 to 16:30 CEST at EUROCONTROL Headquarters in Brussels.
