Forbes has announced its third annual edition of top 250 best regarded companies in the world. The list includes six Russian companies – LUKOIL, United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), Rosseti, Sberbank, VTB Bank and Transneft.

LUKOIL became the only oil and gas operations company from Russia, sharing the category with organizations from Spain and China. Previously, LUKOIL topped Forbes’s list of Russia’s largest private companies.

UAC is also in the same category with a company from China, Rosseti with two Chinese and one Polish electric utility, while the two Russian banks feature in the same category with regional banks from South-East Asia and the Middle East.

This year’s leader of Forbes’s global ranking is Visa payment system. The California-based company moved up three positions compared to the previous year, displacing the world’s largest media conglomerate Walt Disney that ranked only 7th this year.

Forbes has been presenting its annual list of the world’s best regarded companies since 2017, surveying 15,000 respondents from 50 countries around the world who evaluate companies’ trustworthiness, social conduct and employee management.
