Guide to Digital Platforms for Diversity in Transport Ambassadors
As Ambassadors for #DiversityinTransport, having access to the right tools and platforms is essential to stay informed, connected, and active within the network.
This document brings together in one place the main platforms available to you — SharePoint and Teams channel, Wiki, LinkedIn and the European Commission’s Diversity in Transport website on Europe. For each platform, you will find below a direct link and a short explanation of what it offers, how you can use it and how it can support your role as an Ambassador.
The aim is to make it easier for you to quickly locate information, collaborate with peers, access resources, and contribute to the visibility and impact of the network.
| Channel | Purpose |
| SharePoint and Teams | These channels work as collaboration tools. Both, Teams and SharePoint, allow Ambassadors to work together co-creating, editing and managing documents, and coordinating meetings efficiently. These tools are used to communicate official announcements on initiatives and internal developments, to publish internal newsletters (webinars, blogs, tools, excels, PDFs, documents such as the Engagement Plan or Teams posts) providing regular summaries of key activities and achievements and to enable Ambassadors to communicate with each other. There is also an event calendar which is regularly updated by the contractor. |
| Wiki | It serves as a content library for the community of Ambassadors. It is a hub for sharing and accessing information such as policies, legislation, studies, good practices, papers, publications, statistics, news, and activities. |
| It provides a platform for showcasing the expertise and achievements of individual Ambassadors, lending significant weight and credibility to their contributions and the network's overall message. | |
| Diversity in Transport website | It serves as the primary outward-facing platform of the European Commission for showcasing Ambassadors’ work on diversity in the EU transport sector. It also contains the criteria and application form to become an Ambassador. Major milestones, such as information on the annual conference and annual reports are published here. |
By using these platforms effectively, we can work together more efficiently and continue to strengthen our community.
