Five Quaestors elected

On Wednesday afternoon (2 July), Parliament elected five Quaestors, members of parliament who deal with administrative matters directly affecting MEPs themselves.Four Quaestors were elected in the first ballot and one in the second. They are:
| Elisabeth MORIN-CHARTIER (EPP, FR) | 452 votes, 1st round |
| Bogusław LIBERADZKI (S&D, PL) | 443 votes, 1st round |
| Catherine BEARDER (ALDE, UK) | 425 votes, 1st round |
| Andrey KOVATCHEV (EPP, BG) | 420 votes, 1st round |
| Karol Adam KARSKI (ECR, PL) | 347 votes, 2nd round |
Quaestors hold their offices for two and a half years, the same term as the President and Vice-Presidents.
