EU Passenger Name Record (PNR) data
A draft law that would oblige airlines to hand EU countries the data of passengers entering or leaving the EU, in order to help fight serious crime and terrorism, will be discussed with the Commission and Council in the Civil Liberties Committee.

European Year for Development 2015
The 2015 European Year for Development (EYD2015) and the actions to be taken by Parliament in the coming year will be debated by the Development Committee. 2015 marks the end of the Millennium Development Goals agreed at the UN in 2000 and the EYD2015 is intended to raise awareness of how global co-operation on development can make a difference.
