MEPs to discuss investor protection and regulatory aspects of TTIP
Investor protection, including investor-to-state disputes, and regulatory aspects in the forthcoming Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) will be discussed on Tuesday (27 January), at a joint hearing with the trade and legal affairs committees.
MEPs will discuss the enforcement of the TTIP investment protection provisions, investor-to-state-dispute settlement and regulatory coherence and cooperation between the EU and US with Commission officials, academics and stakeholders at the hearing on "TTIP: Regulatory aspects and investor to state dispute settlement and arbitration".
The hearing, co-chaired by Pavel Svoboda, Chair of the Committee on Legal Affairs, and Bernd Lange, Chair of the Committee on International Trade, takes place from15.00 to 18.00, in room PHS 1A0002.
