European Parliament to receive their majesties the King and Queen of the Belgians

belgium11The European Parliament will receive a visit by their majesties the King and Queen of the Belgians on 25 February.
Expected in the morning, their majesties will first hold a discussion with President Martin Schulz. They will then meet the political group leaders. This visit forms part of a tour of the European Union institutions in Brussels.
The programme foresees their majesties’ arrival and the official photo at 10.00, a photo opportunity at the start of the meeting with President Schulz, a group photo before they meet the presidents of political groups and finally their majesties’ departure at around 11h55.

Members of the press wishing to cover the visit are expected at the main entrance to the European Parliament, on the rue Wiertz, at 09h30.
