#MiddleEast and refugees debates with Mogherini, Stoltenberg, MEPs and MPs
Conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, the refugee crisis and the recent NATO engagement in the Mediterranean will be debated in turn with EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and national MPs in the Foreign Affairs committee on Tuesday.
Foreign affairs MEPs and national MPs will debate the conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and the refugee crisis with EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini on Tuesday around 11.30.
In the afternoon, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg will present NATO’s priorities for 2016 to Foreign Affairs Committee and Security and Defence Subcommittee MEPs and national MPs. NATO’s recent engagement in the Mediterranean to deter human trafficking, and the July NATO Summit in Warsaw will be amongst the topics debated.
The committee meeting will take place in the József Antall (JAN) building, room 2Q2, and can be followed live via EP Live and EbS.
