May commits to spend more on health care after #Brexit
British Prime Minister Theresa May said last week that leaving the European Union will mean more money will be available to spend on health care, delivering on a central promise made by campaigners to leave the bloc, writes Andrew MacAskill.
“So there will be money available here in the UK for us to spend on our priorities. Priorities like the NHS and schools.”
“Brexit is going to deliver a country that will be different,” she said. “But I think there are real opportunities for us as an independent nation for the future.”
