In September 2018 compared with August 2018, seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector increased by 2.0% in the eurozone (EA-19) and by 1.7% in the EU-28, according to first estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In August 2018, production in construction fell by 0.6% in the eurozone and by 0.5% in the EU-28.
