European Commission will update the Disability Rights Strategy
The European Commission is updating the EU Disability Right Strategy in 2025. New actions and flagship initiatives that will be included to help close some remaining gaps particularly in the areas of employment, accessibility and independent living.
The decision was announced by the Commissioner for Equality, Hadja Lahbib, during a debate that took place on 19 December in the European Parliament.
