The second "Fusion" International Youth Culture and Arts Week kicked off in Brussels on August 26. This year's theme is "Peace, Green and Friendship".

More than 50 Chinese children's paintings were displayed at the event. The children used their own paintbrushes to spread the wings of their imagination and use colours to depict friendship and express their hope for world peace.

For a week, the Brussels Immigration Museum will bring together local Sino - Belgian artists  to participate in a variety of cultural activities such as China-Morocco tea art dialogues, folk song performances, Kung Fu Panda displays, etc.

At the opening ceremony, Mr Leman, director of the Brussels Immigration Museum, said “China Week is very attractive to local people. Through children's painting exhibitions, tea art exchanges and other activities, it shows more of the Chinese community and deepens local people's understanding and recognition of Chinese culture.”

Mr Johan Famaey, Honorary President of the “FUSION” Art Week Committee said, “Let us ride on the wings of youth and friendship and move towards a better future!”

The "Fusion" International Youth Culture and Art Week was launched in 2023. This project is committed to promoting international cultural exchanges and enhancing people's understanding and recognition of each other's cultures.
