All critical infrastructure in Ukraine's Sievierodonetsk destroyed, Zelenskiy says
Russian shelling destroyed all of the crucial infrastructure in the Ukrainian city Sievierodonetsk. President Volodymyr Zeleskiy stated on Sunday (29 May) that Russia's current "principal goal" is to take the city.
Zelenskiy stated in a televised speech that "All the city's crucial infrastructure has been destroyed... More than two thirds of the city’s housing stock have been destroyed as a result of Russian strikes against Sievierodonetsk."
He stated: "Taking Sievierodonetsk [is] the main aim of the occupying forces."
