Reminders of broken relationships are given new life in Parlamentarium

The Parlamentarium – the European Parliament’s visitors centre in Brussels – is hosting an exhibition of Zagreb’s Museum of Broken Relationships. The exhibition is open for the public until mid-October.

The exhibition

The exhibition, housed by the Museum of Broken Relationships in Zagreb, Croatia is made up of 90 objects, of which 43 were collected specifically for the Brussels exhibition and donated by inhabitants of Brussels. The “collection is composed of evocative objects which remained as silent witnesses of faded love and relationships”, and will be open to the public from 16 June to 15 October, free of charge.

 Parlamentarium

The Parlamentarium is an interactive way to learn more about the history and role of the EP, the daily work of the MEPs and laws and policy decision-making in the EU. It is located in Brussels and is open from 7-19h, free of charge. Exhibitions are available in all 24 official EU languages as well as sign language videos, special audio files for visually impaired visitors and Braille tactile maps in English, French, German and Dutch. The Parlamentarium is wheelchair accessible.
