December 2017: #Eurozone international trade in goods surplus €25.4bn - €14.3bn surplus for EU-28
The first estimate for eurozone (EA-19) exports of goods to the rest of the world in December 2017 was €180.7 billion, an increase of 1.0% compared with December 2016 (€179bn).
Imports from the rest of the world stood at €155.3bn, a rise of 2.5% compared with December 2016 (€151bn). As a result, the eurozone recorded a €25.4bn surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in December 2017, compared with +€27.6bn in December 2016. Intra-eurozone trade rose to €142.4bn in December 2017, up by 2.8% compared with December 2016.
