Key figures on European living conditions – 2024 edition
Would you like to know the overall life satisfaction rate in the EU in 2023? Do you know how equally household income is distributed in the EU? Could you estimate how many people are at risk of poverty or social exclusion in the EU?
To explore these questions and more, Eurostat has released the 2024 edition of Key figures on European living conditions. Using visualizations supported by concise texts, the publication offers a comprehensive overview of living conditions in the EU.

Organized into 3 chapters, the publication compiles the latest data on income distribution and inequality, social and financial disparities, household characteristics, health and the living conditions of people with disabilities, all from a socio-economic perspective. In this edition, new indicators are introduced, focusing on subjective poverty, formal childcare arrangements and life satisfaction.
