Did you know that this year marks the 20th anniversary of the 2004 EU enlargement when Cyprus, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia joined the EU? Or that there are another 10 candidate and enlargement countries?

If you are curious about the EU enlargement, we have the perfect suggestion for you: join our live webinar on 17 October 2024 from 11.00 to 12.00 CEST.

Claudia Junker, Head of Unit for Statistical cooperation - Enlargement, neighbourhood and development cooperation, will open the webinar, being followed by Shari Stehrenberg and Mariana Popova from Eurostat’s statistical cooperation unit. They will discuss why and how Eurostat supports the enlargement countries and the main aspects of the statistical cooperation with the countries under the European Neighbourhood Policy.
