Eurydice report shows mechanisms, methods and criteria in school funding
The report Financing Schools in Europe: Mechanisms, Methods and Criteria in Public Funding has now been launched.
This report provides a framework for understanding the structure of funding systems and funding flows in primary and general secondary education. It explains the financial flows through the various administrative levels involved with the help of diagrams and it analyses the criteria, and principles for allocating various resources to schools in Europe. It covers 27 of the 28 EU member states as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey.
