Siemens stated that Canada's decision to allow a Turbine to be sent from Canada to Germany was a necessary step towards returning it the Russian pipeline it operates. It also said it was aiming for it to return it as soon as possible.

Siemens Energy says it will get pipeline turbine to Russia as soon as possible

"The political export decision will be a crucial first step in the delivery of the turbine. Siemens Energy stated in a statement that its experts are currently working hard to obtain all necessary formal approvals and logistical logistics.
"This includes legally required export control and import control procedures. It stated that our goal is to get the turbine to its intended place of operation as soon as possible."
