This section provides information on topics related to climate change, such as the human activities that cause climate emergency, also known as drivers, greenhouse gas emissions, the various impacts of climate change, as well as mitigation activities and adaptation measures.

Climate change refers to deviations in climate patterns that exceed climate’s normal variability, brought about by human activities. The greenhouse gases emitted into our atmosphere cause this.

Among the drivers of these emissions are the burning of fossil fuels, industrial processes, livestock farming, and waste treatment.
