LaachraouiNajim Laachraoui, the third suspect alleged to be responsible for the attack at Brussels Airport, has not been arrested by Belgian police in Anderlecht, Brussels.

Despite previous statements made by different Belgian media outlets, the man arrested in Anderlecht is not Laachraoui.

Belgian newspapers reported that suspected, also believe to be the bomb expert behind the Paris attacks, was caught by the police after being identify via the security cameras at the airport.

Belgian national broadcaster RTBF was the first to raise doubts about Laachraoui's arrest. They confirmed there had been an arrest in Anderlecht in connection with the attacks, but it could not confirm whether Laachraoui was the suspect.

On the other hand, Flemish journalist Michael Sephilha has reported the news that Laachraoui was arrested in a pizza restaurant in Anderlecht. However the person arrested was not the suspect and has been already released.

In the press conference, Belgian federal persecutor Frederic van Leeuw said that they haven't identified yet the two suicide bombers, while Laachraoui is still on the loose.

Brothers Ibrahim and Khaled El Bakraoui have been identified as two of the bombers. Police found the testament of Ibrahim El Bakraoui during a search in their apartment in Scharbeek. Together with the document, the police found 15 kilos of explosive, 150 litres of acetone, 30 litres of hydrogen peroxide, detonators, a suitcase full of screws and nails, and other materials use to make bombs.

van Leeuw also confirmed the death toll: currently there have been 31 confirmed deaths and 260 wounded, some of them in critical conditions.
