Facebook has published a second set of replies to questions that were left unanswered at the meeting between European Parliament leaders and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

The published answers follow up on the 22 May meeting between the founder and CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg and EP President Antonio Tajani, political group leaders and the Chair and Rapporteur of the Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs Committee.

The first set of follow-up answers to questions from European Parliament leaders that Zuckerberg did not have the time to cover during the meeting were published on 24 May.

The second set of answers focus on topics such as algorithms, online safety, election manipulation and the application of the General Data Protection Regulation by Facebook. The second set of answers can be found here.

MEPs have discussed the Facebook-Cambridge Analytica data breaches in a hearing with key people involved, to obtain a clear and complete picture of what happened. This is the first in a series of three hearings investigating the case. The second hearing will take place on 25 June and the third on 2 July.
