MEPs will vote on new EU-wide rules for drones, discuss the future of Europe with the Dutch prime minister and debate the Iran nuclear deal during June's plenary session in Strasbourg.

Drones

On  Monday 11 June MEPs debated new regulations on EU aviation safety, including requirements for drones that would ensure safety, security, privacy and protection of personal date. They will vote on it today (12 June).

Economic reform

MEPs will question the European Commission on what progress is being made to deepen the EU's economic and monetary union on Tuesday 12 June. They will also discuss recent proposals by European leaders.

Council summit

On 12 June, MEPs will discuss their priorities for the next Council summit on 28-29 June, which willl deal with Brexit, migration and the reform of the euro zone.

Future of Europe

MEPs will debate the future of Europe with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte on Wednesday 13 June.

Cyber defence

 On 12 June, MEPs will debate and vote on a resolution calling for better European cooperation in the field of cyber defence. Don’t miss Facebook Live with lead MEP Urmas Paet at 14h30 CET.

Iran nuclear agreement

 What are the likely consequences of US President's Donald Trump's decision to withdraw from the Iran nuclear agreement and how should the EU react? MEPs will discuss the issue with EU foreign policy Chief Federica Mogherini on 12 June.

Ukraine

MEPs will debate on 12 June and vote the following day on a €1 billion financial aid package for Ukraine.

Poland

The threat to the independence of Poland’s judiciary following government reform will be discussed with Commission Vice-President Frans Timmermans on 13 June. Find out more here.
