Health and Food Safety Commissioner #VytenisAndriukaitis in #Minsk

On 27 August, Health and Food Safety Commissioner Vytenis Andriukaitis (pictured) was in Minsk, Belarus to meet with Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail I. Rusyi, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Ivan Smilhin, Public Health Minister Valery Malashko, and Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister Oleg Kravchenko. "I had fruitful discussions with our Belarus counterparts on issues related to animal diseases, including African Swine Fever, bilateral market access issues, antimicrobial resistance, vaccination and non-communicable diseases among others,'' said Commissioner Andriukaitis. On Tuesday (27 August), Commissioner visited the EU funded project site in Navahrudak and the Lithuanian Centre of Education, Culture and Information in Rymdziuny.
