Ukraine: Join Parliament's chat with Paweł Kowal
Ukraine has dominated the news for months due to the mass demonstrations, the fall of its government and Russia annexing Crimea. Its fate remains in the balance, although the EU has vowed to help the troubled country. Come and discuss Ukraine's future during a Facebook chat with Paweł Kowal on Wednesday 9 April from 14.30 CET. The Polish member of the ECR group is the head of Parliament’s delegation to Ukraine.
Parliament has expressed its support for Ukraine and wants the country to be able to determine its own future. MEPs voted in favour of lowering EU tariffs for imported Ukrainian goods and also in support of signing the EU-Ukraine association agreement.
