Excellency,


On behalf of the People and the Government of Bangladesh and my behalf, I convey deepest condolences at the sad demise of H. E. Mr. David Sassoli, President of the European Parliament.

Mr. Sassoli was a compassionate journalist as well as an extraordinary EU Parliament President. I am confident that Mr. Sassoli's legacy will continue to inspire Parliamentary democracies around the world to forge ahead and strengthen cooperation amongst the nations. We stand with our deepest sympathy to all of his bereaved family members and loved ones and pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
