Russia's defense minister visits troops involved in Ukraine operation
Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu inspected Russian troops in Ukraine, the defence ministry stated on Sunday (26 June).
"Army General Sergei Shoigu received reports from commanders about the situation and actions of Russian Armed Forces within the main operational areas," said the ministry in a statement.
It was unclear when Shoigu visited Ukraine, or if he had already been there.
According to the defense ministry, this story incorrectly states that Shoigu visited troops in Ukraine during the Operation. It wasn't immediately clear if he visited Ukraine.
