As Russia continues its attack on Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, President of Ukraine, attends a joint news conference in Kyiv with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nuseda.
Ukraine’s security agencies demanded that the United Nations and Red Cross respond immediately to the killing of Russian prisoners of war held in a Russian jail. They noted that the two bodies had provided guarantees for the detainees' well-being.
The agencies issued a joint statement after President Volodymyr Zienskiy called them to meet. They stated that the UN should send investigator teams to investigate the deaths.
