Volodymyr Zelenskiy, the Ukrainian president, expressed doubts over Russia's declaration of partial mobilization being over. He said that Russia's poor performance meant that more men might be required.

Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu stated earlier that the call-up for 300,000 reservists in Ukraine was complete.

"We have received reports that the enemy has finished its mobilization. It seems as though there is no need to send more Russian citizens to the front. In a video address Zelenskiy stated that they feel differently about the front lines.

"Even though Russia is trying increase pressure on our positions using conscripts they are so poorly equipped and prepared, so brutally used their command, it allows us to suppose that Russia may soon need a new wave to go to war."
