#Valneva expects to agree full UK joint investment for possible #COVID vaccine in weeks: CFO
Valneva said on Wednesday (5 August) Britain was committing an initial investment of more than £10 million ($13.12m) to increase production capacity for a possible COVID-19 vaccine, and that it expected negotiations on a full package to be agreed in weeks, writes Richard Lough.
“We are in the detailed work to finalize the agreement,” Valneva CFO David Lawrence told Reuters.
Lawrence said Valneva planned to supply 60 million doses of an eventual vaccine to Britain in the second half of 2021.
